The women's Wednesday night Growth Group invites you to join them in their Summer Reading Series June, July & August.
We will be reading the 5 books of the Chronicles of the Kings series, by Lynn Austin
The books are fictional and fun reading. The story begins shortly after the death of King Solomon when the Promised Land split into two separate kingdoms: Israel to the North and Judah to the South. The story centers around the events that took place during the lives of King Ahaz and his son Hezekiah. They are based on the scriptural accounts of 2 Kings 16-18; 2 Chronicles 26, 28, 29; Jeremiah 26:18-19 and the prophecies of Isaiah & Micah.
Book 1 of the series is available today, May 29th, in the foyer. The books cost $5 each. Please sign the roster if you will be joining us for the Summer Reading Series.
Our meetings during the summer will be once a month on the 3rd Wed of each month. June 15; July 20; August 17. We will meet each for a Pot Luck Picnic and discussion of our reading.
We will meet from 6-7:30 PM at Loma Norte Park (next to Estelli Park) north of Whittier Blvd on Palm (just 5 minutes from the church).
Join in with us for some good summer reading, fun and fellowship.
